...to be continued...

So, I wasn't able to get back to this continuation 'til today.

Before I go into the story, I would first like to say that my weekend was absolutely wonderful. Peter and I ate yummy Vietnamese food (Tea House) for dinner Friday night and had lots of great sex. We both woke up early Saturday to more great sex and to a surprise! Saturday turned out to be a Peak Fertility day per the ClearPlan Easy fertility test kit! WOOHOO!

We met Wayne, Ren and Kristen at Kerbey Lane for breakfast. The food really sucked but the company and conversation were well worth my bland, tasteless, cold migas breakfast taco.

Peter went home to watch NHRA and the rest of us were off to Slick Willlie's to play in a APA pool tournament. It was fun while it lasted. I got a little tipsy after winning my match. We (the team) ended up losing a bit later due to single elimination. Bummer. It was fun though and congrats to our team for making it that far! After lunch, I was back home for rest and an afternoon of football with Peter.

Yesterday, we spent most of the day watching TV and running errands. We took naps and played with the boys some. The weekend ended with more great sex (2nd peak fertility day) and then sleep. Ahhh...sleep. I loves me some Z's...

Ok, back to last week. I don't even feel like going into it anymore. Sorry to be a kill-joy but it just won't do any good. What it boils down to is some psycho bitch in California posting a blog from 2005-2008 about her obsession with Peter and their breakup long ago (before I met him.) She is a crazy, meth-addicted whore and doesn't deserve the attention. Sorry, I know I just gave her what she doesn't deserve, but I am not blogging anywhere near what I would have about it last week. Ugh. It was awful. I don't mean for me. I mean for Peter. Part of his personal, private life (true or not) is out there for anyone and everyone to read! That's just sick. It's no one else's business...not even mine and he's my husband!

Enough.

Anjanette got a new job and she loves it. Eric's got some new band members and they are laying down tracks all the time. They just adopted Ella--a beautiful gray & white female kitten and they are adjusting. Mom is still looking for a job. Daddy is back to bike riding and they are working hard to tame Izzy & Harley--their two new adopted kittens. They are so fun. Kristen and Jason are still dating and very happy. We are still trying to get me leveled in WoW so that we are all Level 70 when the times comes for the expansion pack in November.

So, that's it for now. Love & stuff.

Thank God this week's almost over...

This week has been absolute fucking hell. Between drinking too much, not sleeping enough and how much I hate the work I do right now, I don't know how I survived.

In my line of work, the trend right now seems to be:

buys policy to get proof of coverage. Once gets the certificate, gets done and then can't maintain payments on his/her policy, so lets coverage cancel. Three months later when a $5,000 contract comes along, I (we--sorry Jules!) go through the process with again. It really sucks. It's a waste of my (our, sorry again, Jules!) time, intelligence and resources. F*cking losers. Who are YOU to take advantage of us? (I remembered, Jules!)

Here's my solution. If we have written their coverage before and they cancelled for non-pay, we charge a $75 cancellation fee, double the agency fee AND refuse to request binding without payment in full. It's fool-proof and brilliant! I will have to pass it through management, of course...who knows how that will be met. If it did work and the procedure was implemented, every time I billed that extra shit, I would do a happy dance, I swear!

I will get off the insurance industry soap box. "Next!"

So, do you want to know the final (and strongest) reason why my week was so bad? A co-worker suggested that I search the web for my name to see what is out there about me. Low and behold, I was pleasantly surprised! There I am on the AIP site as well as on the APA Austin site! My name in lights! How cool is that? The next "find" is what totally sent me over the edge yesterday.
